Built-in commands
Small commands built into the standard Modify tab on the ribbon. Built-in commands are added 100 milliseconds after the tab appears in a separate ModPlus panel. Commands are added to the panel depending on which elements are selected.
The addition of built-in commands can be disabled in the ModPlus settings window.
Open view




Enables you to open the selected view in a new tab. Displayed when only viewports or section/elevation designations are selected.
Create view




Enables you to create a view (plan) by selected levels. Displayed when only levels are selected.
Select elements (Group)




Enables you to select all elements included in the selected groups. Groups are processed recursively - i.e. if a group contains nested groups, the elements of the nested groups will also be selected. Displayed when only groups are selected.
Select groups




Enables you to select the parent Groups that the selected elements belong to. Displayed when only elements located in groups are selected.
Select elements (Assembly)




Enables you to select all elements included in the selected assemblies. Displayed when assemblies are selected.
Select assemblies




Enables you to select the parent Assemblies that the selected elements belong to. Displayed when only elements located in assemblies are selected.
Select elements (Beam system)




Enables you to select the elements included in the selected Beam Systems. Displayed if only Beam Systems are selected.
Select elements (Truss)




Enables you to select the elements included in the selected trusses. Displayed if only Trusses are selected.
Select elements (Dimensions)




Enables you to select the elements of the current document referenced by the selected dimensions. Displayed if only dimensions are selected.
Select elements (Level)




Enables you to select the elements associated with the selected level. Displayed when one Level is selected.
Select components




Enables you to select the components (nested families) included in the selected Families. Displayed if there is at least one family with components among the selected families.
Select parent family




Enables you to select the parent families that contain the selected nested families. Displayed if there is at least one nested family among the selected families.
Select rebars




Enables you to select the Rebars included in the selected Structural Area Reinforcement or Structural Path Reinforcement. Displayed when selecting Structural Area Reinforcement and/or Structural Path Reinforcement.
Enables you to select the reinforcement included in the selected host elements. Displayed if only elements containing reinforcement are selected.
Select host




Enables you to select an elements that is the Host for the selected elements. Displayed if all selected elements have a host.
Select inserts




Searches for and selects inserts placed in selected Host elements. Displayed when only the Host elements are selected.
Select boundaries




Enables you to select the boundary elements that form the contour of the selected rooms or spaces. Displayed when only rooms or spaces are selected.
Subcategory visibility




Enables you to change the visibility on the current view of the current element's category subcategories. Displayed if a single element is selected whose category has subcategories available for modification on the current view. Not displayed if a view template is applied to the current view.
Set to view




Enables you to set the Work Plane of the current element as the Work Plane of the current 3D View. Displayed when a single family is selected that is placed on the work plane.
Reload




Enables you to reload the links. Displayed if only instances of RVT Links, Import Symbols, or Raster Images are selected.
Unload




Enables you to Unload the Link.Displayed if only instances of RVT Links or Raster Images are selected.
Open folder




Enables you to open the folder containing the file of the selected Link. Displayed when a single instance of a RVT Links, Import Symbol, or Raster images with a local path to the source file is selected.
