Today we released an update of the Apartment Layout plugin, adding a new tab called "Locked appartments":

After the release of the Parametrization plugin, we started getting feedback with examples of custom formulas. And some of those formulas were just really voluminous, which made it hard to perceive them in the formula editor. So, meet the new formula editor feature - Fields:

With Fields, you can take out entire chunks of a formula and replace them with keys. It's like a constructor where you can create a formula from small parts. You can paste fields into each other, and add them to your list of favorite fields, and then reuse them in other formulas!

In addition to Fields, today's plugin update also contains two new strategies:

RoomBoundaries - the strategy allows you to process elements that are room boundaries

ConnectionSubElements - the strategy allows you to process elements in the Structural Connections: plates, bolts, etc. Due to the nuances in the Revit API, the strategy has a number of limitations, which are described in the plugin itself.

Meet the big update to the Numbering plugin! Version 5.0.

We have made a large number of changes, including:

• processing of elements, located in the Structural Connections, when numbering in the schedule
• possibility to set the prefix and suffix by parameter
• possibility to set a numbering step
• possibility to use fractional numbers for numbering

At the end of 2019, I made the decision to open-source the free plugins. At the time, I motivated this for several reasons:

1. there are a lot of plugins
2. experience sharing
3. quick bug fixes
4. development of the ESKD plugin

That is, my hopes were naive and pure - I wanted to connect to the project interested people and help in its development.

And so in almost three years only one pull-request was made - in localization! But in the Internet I have encountered an almost complete duplication of my free plugins. Yes, of course, it's possible that a few people on the planet got the same idea and turned out a similar implementation, but...

Even if the plugins are free, I still invested a lot of time and effort into many of them, and I no longer want to share the results of my intellectual labor, helping my obvious or potential competitors.

All repositories except for Localization and ESKD have already been made private
