Once again, an interesting idea for a plugin was written to us in a Telegram chat - to select a rectangular area on the plan and get that area on the 3D view. We decided not to make a new plugin but add a sub command to the Cropping view plugin. See what we got in the short video:

Initially, the Internal dimensions on plan plugin had only one job - to create dimensions on a masonry plan (i.e., a plan with walls and grids). Then we got a request to make a column dimensioning plugin. We decided not to create a new plugin, but to complement the existing one, as functionally these tasks are similar. And then we started getting requests for other similar tasks. And we realized - it's time to redesign the Internal dimensions on the plan plugin!

And today we're happy to present you with an updated version of the plugin, which is now called Dimensions on plan.

ModPlus keeps increasing the number of plugins for Revit and we've reached the point where there's not enough space on the ribbon anymore. And what's the most logical thing to do in this case? Right - create new tabs on the ribbon. But users don't like a large number of tabs, so we had to find another approach. And we found it!

Introducing a new plugin for Revit - Layer breaking. With this plugin you can break multilayer elements - walls and floors - into single layer elements. The plugin automatically picks up or creates the necessary types, correctly processes intersections, restores inserts (windows, doors, openings), processes curved walls, as well as elements from linked files!
