Replace taps

Replaces a tee with a tap or a tap with a tee while preserving the original position of the main

The command processes preselected tees and taps. If no suitable elements are selected before running the command, the following prompt must be completed:

Select tees and taps to replace – select the tees and taps to be replaced.

To replace a tee with a tap, a straight main segment must be connected to at least one side of the tee. A fitting may be connected on the other side. The main segments on both sides of the tee must have the same size and cross-section.

To replace a tap with a tee, straight main and branch segments must be connected to the tap, and the main segments must lie on the same line.

The corresponding fittings must be specified in the routing preferences for the main size: the tap and tee must be added to the Junctions rule group.
