Revit. Tools. Automatic Wall Join Type, Element Information and Disabling Temporary Views

From time to time, users send us requests to develop some small command. Small commands that don't qualify as a full-fledged plugin are added to a special plugin, Tools. Today we are happy to present an update to the Tools plugin with new commands and some changes, which we describe below.

Wall Join

The new Wall Join command automates setting a specific join type when creating walls:

Show information

The Show information command lets you view basic information about the selected elements, including properties that are not available in the Properties palette – Class, ID, Creator and Last modified.

Disable temporary views

The small Disable temporary views command disables temporary hide/isolate mode in all views of the current project in one click.

Grid bubbles visibility

The logic of the Grid bubbles visibility command has been reworked – now you can change the visibility of the bubbles at the start and at the end of a grid without running the command twice:

Grids mode

The Grids mode command now lets you change the grids mode on selected views:

Zoom selected

The Zoom selected command has been improved – zooming now works even if the selected elements are not visible in the current view.
