It is almost impossible to create plugins for Renga at the moment, since Renga's API is rather poor. But sometimes, not without the help of our users, we manage to do it. And today we are pleased to present you a new small plugin created at the request of users - Levels.

This plugin is designed to simplify the work with levels, or rather, with objects belonging to the levels, and allows to invert their visibility, isolate them or select them.

Yesterday, 11/13/2020, the server platform was updated on the hosting on which the modplusservice.com web service is parked. Basically, it's like moving from one server to another.

Unfortunately, this move created major problems for ModPlus - almost all requests from the application to the service began to return an error. And the web service is responsible for the licensing system and the update system. All day we talked with the hosting technical support, but or they can't fix the problem, or they don't want to deal with it.

Nevertheless, from the side of the application, we found a solution to the problem and by the evening we had already released an important update. The only problem is that probably the auto-update module of version 9.0.0.0 cannot download updates all due to the same problem. Vicious circle.

Therefore, all users need to update using the Web Installer, be sure to download it from the site, since the installer has also been updated. After updating, the error will stop occurring.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Today, 11/15/2020, hosting technical support has finally fixed the problem, so errors will no longer occur even for those users who have not updated!

As you may have noticed, a week ago, we started mass updates of plugins marked "Service Update". Yesterday the update of the latest plugins was completed (at the moment there are 70 of them) and today the final stage is the update of the Working Libraries and the Configurator.

What is this update?

There won't be any visible changes for users, but this big update just needed to be done. The fact is that for a long time in working libraries any garbage accumulates - methods with errors, incorrect field names, outdated interfaces, etc. And many of these errors lead to code duplication: i.e. old methods remain in the code and new ones appear. Over time, this leads to inconvenience. And to remove the old code, we first need to remove its use from plugins, and then from libraries. Which is what happened this week.

Well, why this news?

The fact is that not all users update correctly. There are factors that we cannot influence in any way: antiviruses, network settings, hosting errors, errors in the operating system, etc. And it happens that only a part of the updates occurs, as a result of which you can observe errors like "Method not found or not implemented".

Don't panic! If suddenly your update happened incorrectly, then you can always use the web installer. It is advisable to run it as administrator. The web installer overwrites all files regardless of the local versions of the files!

The plugin does the opposite of the recently released Merge dimensions plugin - you select a dimension chain and the plugin creates new dimensions from the segments of that chain.

The plugin was made at the request of our regular users in Telegram, and it is so small and understandable that we did not even create a video for it!

Today's update of the Walls reinforcement plugin has several major innovations at once, which will be briefly discussed in this article.

The most important update: the algorithms for checking and correcting the standard rebar bend diameters have been redesigned. Now in the settings of all plugins for reinforcement (Walls reinforcement, Slabs reinforcement, Columns reinforcement) there is a choice of rules for bends - SP 63.13330.2018 or EN 1992-1-1 (Eurocode 2):

The second major update is for the framing of openings: you can now create horizontal bars separately above and below the opening. And more importantly, now you can create stirrups along the horizontal bars above the opening:
